The Team:
Through a comprehensive understanding of people, the brand, and retail landscape, the Customer Insights team will enable & empower the organization to leverage insights as a regular, valued, and natural input to strategy development and everyday decision making. This team thinks beyond consumers, with the goal of understanding humans. We identify and articulate their needs alongside actionable recommendations that enable the business to deliver their wants, driving business growth.
Your Role:
The Analyst Customer Insights is responsible for supporting the search, collection, and synthesis of market, consumer & competitive insights. By framing up our quantitative and qualitative data with the context of what is happening around us, he/she will aid in the completion of the 360-degree view of the customer. This role supports Victoria’s Secret & Victoria’s Secret Beauty.
Your Impact:

Shape and refine the brand’s understanding of the business through the lens of the customer.

Influence strategic priorities across VS + Beauty including supporting functions such as Design, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and Brand Strategy, and Creative.

Build a deep understanding of our key product categories to guide seasonal planning and analyze in-season performance through multiple data sources, including marketplace data, primary, and secondary research.

Assist in quantitative studies that support the product development process from design and development to assorting and planning through to copy and marketing.

Assist with qualitative initiatives to complement the quantitative insights to answer the “why”, bringing consumer sentiment to life and deepening our understanding of our customer.

Assist with consumer wear testing efforts to ensure product quality and performance meet customer expectations and help identify winning go-forward raw materials and key messaging opportunities

Generate insights from all above research, delivering presentations with confidence and clarity.

Stay up to date on emerging consumer and market trends that are impacting consumer behavior.

Maximum Salary: $88,830.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Your Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, research, merchandising, or related field.

Ability to think globally/strategically, turning insights into actionable recommendations.
-
Experience and success in using data to tell a story; including the ability to draw and synthesize insights from several different sources
-
Ability to be objective in analysis & share learnings constructively
-
Strong written and oral presentation skills
-
Adaptable and a champion for change

Experience with research tools (e.g. Qualtrics, Toluna, Circana) preferred.

Experience with other insights platforms (e.g. WGSN, Ypulse, Kantar, etc.) a plus.
