Sr. Controls Technician/ Controls Technician
Victoria’s Secret Maintenance team supports material handling, mobile equipment, HVAC, and building maintenance to more than three million square feet of distribution space across our four locations in Central Ohio. We have sophisticated material handling conveyors and state-of-the-art sortation systems that are constantly evaluated and upgraded to keep our 24/7 business productive and competitive with a variety of work schedules. Your Role
This role will support the Controls team in providing technical expertise and guidance for all material handling automation systems in our distribution centers. The role is responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and project-based efforts, work assignments and audits of completed tasks, along with providing direct feedback and mentoring based on discoveries. It requires strong technical knowledge, broad knowledge of PLC hardware and logic (programable logic controllers). Subject matter expert knowledge is required in support of custom automation systems with a focus on software application, PLC application communications, I/O field device support, host communications, and system redundancy.
Your Location and Shift
Role is onsite at our DC6 Distribution Center at 3425 Morse Crossing, Columbus, OH
Hours: PM weekend shift, Friday thru Sunday (Three 12 hour shifts) 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Your Impact
- Lead projects to implement new or modify existing DC material handling automation systems to support business needs. The focus of this role will be on the software that controls the material handling system.
- Be an expert on the software that supports our DC material handling systems including providing technical support to distribution center users and PLC controls team during troubleshooting or breakdown
- Maintain and administer the software on existing process distribution center automation systems. Develop and execute test plans for new software applications or modifications.
- Ensure optimal system performance and uptime during critical business periods.
- Manage vendors to schedule, cost, and deliverables.
- Be an integral member of, and work in collaboration with, the balance of the Facilities Services Team to deliver and maintain the best possible working solutions for the user community.
- Work on a day-to-day basis with the users in order to be continuously aware of their specific requirements, issues and the performance of systems in the field

Maximum Salary: $44.62
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Your Experience
· Experience guiding teams and technical individual contributors that stimulates a sense of cooperation, ownership, and produces results.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in work related to maintaining of material handling and storage systems, distribution center operations and warehouse management systems
· Understanding of warehousing and physical distribution processes. Experience with advanced material handling systems e.g., high-speed sortation, AS/RS, etc. a plus
· Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) & Warehouse Controls System (WCS) applications
· Experience with troubleshooting high and low voltage i.e. motors, drives and starters
· Experience performing and building preventative maintenance programs
· Experience with visualization SCADA systems, Ignition software package preferred
· Working knowledge of PLC platforms including AB/Rockwell, Siemens, and Step 7
