Now is an exciting time to join Victoria’s Secret and the in-house Media team as we grow and evolve our approach to paid media and advertising.
As the AVP of Integrated Media Strategy & Planning, you will be responsible for leading integrated media planning, campaign media strategies and plans, and full-funnel messaging. You will drive brand love, customer acquisition, and effective results against key business objectives for the Victoria’s Secret and PINK brands.
Key Responsibilities
Media Strategy & Integrated Media Planning
Architect full-funnel media strategies and integrated plans across paid media touchpoints to deliver cohesive consumer experiences.
Ensure all media plans – across digital and traditional media – align with business objectives, brand storytelling, and target audience decision journeys.
Leverage consumer and performance insights into cross-channel allocation of campaign budgets, deciding which channels best align with specific campaigns.
Translate data and audience insights into clear, actionable frameworks and compelling narratives that influence business partners and senior stakeholders.
Manage paid media inputs into Seasonal Strategy and Go-to-Market milestones.
Develop insights and actions based on qualitative and quantitative analytics. Experiment and research through test-and-learn initiatives.
Own campaign performance reviews, creating post-campaign reports, identifying actionable insights, and sharing with cross-functional partners.
Full-Funnel Messaging & Creative Collaboration
Oversee development of integrated messaging frameworks and media calendars that support brand, product, promotional, and customer marketing strategies.
Partner closely with Brand Strategy and Creative teams to ensure campaigns are designed for effective media amplification and platform-specific engagement.
Guide development of creative briefs, media requirements, messaging architecture, and channel-specific best practices.
Ensure media and creative strategies work together to create cohesive customer experiences throughout the funnel.
Measurement, Insights & Optimization
Partner with Media Channels, Investment, Measurement, and Operations teams to establish campaign objectives, KPIs, and learning agendas.
Analyze campaign performance and develop actionable recommendations that improve future audience, creative, channel, and investment decisions.
Lead campaign performance reviews and post-campaign reporting for senior stakeholders.
Translate quantitative and qualitative insights into compelling narratives that influence business decisions and media strategy.
Support optimization of media investments against customer growth, engagement, efficiency, and business performance goals.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
Manage, mentor, and elevate a team of media planners and strategists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, cross-channel understanding, and strategic rigor.
Guide team in translating complex media data into actionable insights.
Collaborate with Brand Strategy, Consumer Insights, PR, Creative, Production, and Marketing Operations teams to establish clear communication channels to deliver against shared objectives and own the outcome together.
Collaborate with VP of Media, AVP of Media Channels & Programs, and Director of Media Investment, Measurement & Operations to ensure media strategies are brought to life efficiently and effectively.
Stay current on the latest news, trends, emerging opportunities, best practices, and industry updates. Share key updates with team, cross-functional partners, and executive leaders.
Manage external relationships with agencies, vendors, and platform partners.

Maximum Salary: $240,000.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
12+ years of experience in paid media and advertising required
Experience across media channels: display, video, audio, OOH, social, search, affiliate
Ability to building partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Strong communications skills that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Experience within an in-house media team or agency preferred
Experience within a retail, fashion, or beauty organization preferred
Experience leading direct reports, cross-functional teams, and vendor relationships
This role is based in our New York, NY office
As a hybrid role, the person in this role will be expected to be in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
