Your Role
The Raw Material Senior Specialist manages a full category of Raw Materials from concept to production readiness. Partnering cross-functionally to develop, communicate, and deliver on product design and brand aesthetic. They will work closely within a cross-functional team which includes Design, Production, Merchandising, Tech Design, Color & Print and Regulatory, as well as International offices.

Source fabrics and trims from global supply chain to meet required aesthetics, price points, and performance standards.

Continued awareness of seasonal fabric trends and translate that information into brand appropriate development.

Identify relevant supply chain driven technologies and commercialize with category specific needs in mind.

Textile development that accelerates brand growth.

Partner closely with design and cross-functional partners to understand styling and required aesthetics of a garment.

Management of raw material strategy to support garment costs and speed to market.

Maintenance of core raw material library.

Quality approval for all raw materials.

Risk assessment of all raw materials in broader context of style, garment care, purpose, regulatory requirements, quality.

Leverage technical knowledge for in-depth problem solving relating to raw material and garment testing.

Focus on company goals to support initiatives ranging from sustainability to cost savings.

Evaluate new and existing suppliers for their ability to meet business needs in quality of product, capacity, and cost.

Maximum Salary: $154,875.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

The VS&Co. recruiting team has an eye for great talent and will contact qualified candidates who apply. Recruiters also may come across your profile on LinkedIn or other career sites and reach out to you directly. Recruiters may contact you by phone, email, text, or LinkedIn messages to arrange screens or interviews.
Initial Screen
Recruiters complete an initial screening with talent to learn about candidates and share more about our culture and opportunities.
Interviews
Interviews with the hiring team can happen by phone, video, or in person. We will never conduct an interview via chat, messaging service, or texting.
Offers
VS&Co. Recruiters extend job offers electronically that are sent from vsco-hr@victoria.com email address. We will never ask for payment, financial information, equipment purchases, or personal information as a part of the recruiting process. Post-acceptance personal identification information is captured in a secure system.
