GENERAL SUMMARY:
This role drives data intelligence for the Production Engineering function, translating operational data into clear and actionable insights that elevate production capabilities and efficiency. It involves building trusted dashboards and supporting cross-functional teams with analytics to enable data-driven decision-making aligned with organizational goals. This position reports to the Associate Vice President, Production Engineering.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Data Analytics & Insights

Build and maintain robust datasets that surface clear insights on production capability, sourcing performance, and market trends.

Design and implement dashboards and reports that enable strategic decision-making, leveraging tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy and Alteryx etc.

Build and monitor key metrics (efficiency, capacity/lead time, quality, delivery, cost) and analyze trends to identify improvement opportunities across production and sourcing.

Translate data and communicate insights in clear and concise narratives for leaders and cross-functional teams on results, root causes, and next steps.

Tie production metrics to financial outcomes on quantifying the cost and margin impact of changes in efficiency, lead time, quality, and delivery.

Coach teams and vendors to adopt data‑driven practices; build confidence and accountability around using dashboards in decision‑making.

Stay current on analytics best practices and apply them to boost dashboard performance and scalability.
Strategic Planning & Governance

Own the KPI framework for vendor and production performance. Set a clear review rhythm for KPIs and scorecards; align targets and actions with company strategy and business priorities.

Protect data quality and consistency across regions and vendors; promote one trusted version of the numbers.
Collaboration & Influence

Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify and secure the right data sources; agree on definitions, ownership, refresh cadence, and quality checks so teams can rely on accurate and consistent data.

Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to optimize workflows and resolve issues.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data/Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related field.

12+ years in a data analytics role within garment production, manufacturing, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make actionable recommendations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving collaborative projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in some of the data visualization, modeling and analysis tools e.g., Alteryx, MicroStrategy, Power BI, Snowflake, Python would be an advantage.
