The Role
The Senior Textile Technologist uses professional knowledge to enhance the success of VS products. Act as a leading coordinator with Graphic and product Designers, regional offices and printers to execute the graphics to meet design intent for strike offs and make sure to meet milestone deadlines. The key role is to work with design teams to build graphics technical packages for factories to execute and build graphic line sheets each season.
Role Description

Play a leading role to ensure all graphic packages/artwork are valid and viable for each region and vendor. Develop graphics according to seasonal sourcing strategies provided by Graphic partners.

Partner with Graphic Designers and Product Design teams to create and maintain graphic line sheets.

Create Graphic line sheets each season to support automation by creating all spec packs.

Attend weekly design team meetings to capture all changes in both graphic line sheets and spec packs.

Have strong technical knowledge of graphics and how they are executed on garments.

Ensure strike offs are accurate for milestone meetings with costing information for graphics.

Mange seasonal deliverables based on calendar- ensure technical packages and graphic line sheets are completed and passed off on time each season.

Constant technology awareness to better improve automation.

Explore graphic techniques and costing options while preserving design aesthetics.

Partner with graphic development team to review all strike offs each season for Bulk approvals.

Drive/Support innovation in graphic techniques seasonally.

Conduct competitive and aspirational shopping quarterly to ensure VS and Pink are at the forefront of graphic technique innovation and are cost competitive for graphic techniques.

Ensure cross functional communication is appropriate and timely to avoid delivery, price or quality issues.

Partner with Graphic Designers to ensure all requests are technically executable.

Mentor junior team members for operational process to meet set standards.

Minimum Salary : $96,800.00
Maximum Salary : $132,195.00
VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably with a concentration in apparel production management) or equivalent experience

Min 7 years’ experience in graphic product development, graphic design or sourcing

Domestic/International travel as required.

Advanced knowledge of graphic techniques and they are executed.

Advanced knowledge of graphic manufacturing.

Knowledge of garment washing, garment dyeing, and fabric finishing.

Advanced knowledge of the printing process (understanding how graphic development impacts the product development process through commercialization and applies knowledge to ensure business objectives are achieved).

Excellent in approving graphic strike offs

Ability to offer solutions to manufacturing challenges.

Good management skills to lead and develop associate members.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent organizational skills.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop.

Excellent computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook.
