This position is based in Columbus, Ohio and has weekly in office expectations.

Your Role

The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for driving the HR Strategy and talent initiatives for VS&Co Brand Merchandising teams.  This role will serve as a consultative and strategic business partner to the teams, assisting with administration of policies and programs covering the talent lifecycle, HR strategy delivery and associate relations.  This includes the following responsibilities: Performance Management, Organizational Leadership review, Leadership Development and Culture.

Your Impact

Must possess the ability to:

Create, lead, and execute talent lifecycle projects. Effective project management includes assessing talent needs; understand the value to customer groups and building a business case for project sponsorship. Approved initiatives will involve a high degree of collaboration with cross functional support groups and clear communication.

Work with leadership in managing the talent lifecycle calendar and associated action items.

Acquisition and Onboarding

  • Partner with leadership and talent acquisition to recruit and select candidates with the right fit for the right roles.
  • Actively build talent pipelines for technical roles and roles with succession gaps. 
  • Ensure appropriate on-boarding and assimilation for all management associates in new positions.
  • Provide education around HR processes to leadership.

Alignment &Performance Management

  • Align organization structures to create high performing teams to best support business strategies.
  • Build and refine talent strategy for individualized teams and leaders.
  • Coordinate and execute annual and mid-year performance review process; ensures IDPs are created and executed.
  • Assists with Roles and Responsibilities/Role clarity.

Development & Succession Planning

  • Leads OLR, succession planning, and development processes within the team.
  • Work with leadership to determine talent needs and retention strategies.
  • Identify leadership and associate development needs, make necessary recommendations and, in partnership with L&D COE function, create and manage best-in-class technical and leadership development programs, onboarding and assimilation.  

Culture and Retention

  • Provide change management support as needed.
  • Coach and influence leaders and associates to enable high performance and engagement.
  • Assists with all Associate Opinion Survey processes including dissemination of results and action planning processes.

Rewards & Recognition

  • Administer compensation within predetermined guidelines.
  • Perform analysis and recommended compensation actions to retain top talent and maintain a high performing culture.

Minimum Salary : $125,500.00
Maximum Salary : $171,360.00

VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 8+ years of proven human resources experience
  • Experience should include all areas of human resources (inclusive of employment law) and HR business partner expertise
  • Strong organization, time management and communication skills
  • Retail background, prior experience with Merchandising functional group and/or L&D is highly preferred
  • Outstanding associate relations expertise
  • High degree of professionalism, consistently sound judgment and confidentiality is required
  • Proven strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills
