Your Role:
The Manager Assortment is responsible for managing multiple business categories financial assortment architecture by store group. This includes supervising the creation and modification of stores groups based upon sales volume, square footage and consumer preference, and ensuring assortment mix by store group is aligned to financial benchmarks and store space requirements. The Manager reports to the Director of Assortment & Space Planning and will manage a team of assortment planners.

Your Impact:
Pre-Season
-
Identify opportunities by store group to increase productivity for future floor set periods
-
Partner with and influence Merchandising and Planning on recommend Style and Choice counts by store group for initial strategic direction aligned with the financial targets of the business.
In-Season
-
Identify opportunities by store group based upon current assortment and visual display.

Weekly business review/hind sighting to influence current and future seasons
Reporting/Analytics

Define and maintain the assortment planning reporting and analytical deliverables

Provide analysis and recommendations to key Brand partners and leadership
Integration Points

Provide management and supervision of team, including goal-setting, coaching, providing development opportunities and evaluating performance

Partner with leadership and perform cross-functional team role on business initiatives

Drive Assortment integration into Retail and Visual Merchandising activities to enhance fact-based decision support

Partner with Merchandising, Planning, Visual Merchandising and Inventory Deployment to represent the opportunities and constraints that the physical environment creates at store level.

Minimum Salary : $125,500.00
Maximum Salary : $171,360.00
VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.
Your Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business related field
-
5-10 years of experience in merchandising and/or merchandise/strategic planning
-
Experience in space planning is a plus, but not required

Experience in inventory management (allocation, replenishment, deployment) or merchandise planning.

Strong analytical, leadership and team-building skills

Ability to grasp the big picture while simultaneously paying attention to details

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work; detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment

Identifies/influences critical stakeholders – proactively problem solves and recommends solutions; performance-based decision making

Strong communication and presentation skills: concisely presents complex information/recommendations in terms meaningful to various audiences

Strong computer skills (PC-based); demonstrated ability to learn and apply new software technology
