Position Title: Manager, Photo Production

Your Role

The Manager Photo Production manages all aspects of the creative photography, video, and still life production process and helps create and manage the creative budget. They coordinate the various creative components of each project to ensure they meet the creative and brand objectives on time and within the designated budget.

Your Impact

  • Work and partner with the Creative Director Photography, Art directors and VP of Creative to organize the production of PINK photo shoots while ensuring all creative components support the brand identity and further the creative vision
  • Key Partners are Creative Director Photography, Photo Art Directors, Creative Operations, Sample Management, Merchants, Stylist, Finance and Outside Vendors
  • Photo, Still life & Video Production & Pre-Production
  • Manage the scheduling and booking of all photographers, models, hair, makeup, stylists, studios, outside production and locations for all photo shoots
  • Create and manage highly intricate photography schedules of staff Photo Art Directors with maximum flexibility to meet business needs
  • Manage all travel for local and onsite shoots in conjunction with VS&Co. Travel & Expense department
  • Partner with Travel & Expense team to achieve flexibility, financial savings, and booking efficiencies
  • Work with compliance team to ensure all shoot information is given to compliance officers
  • Ensure all release forms are signed and work with legal if any issues arise
  • Negotiate rates and fees to reduce costs while maintaining highest possible photographic standards for the Brand and while maintaining talent relationships
  • Work with operations team to map photo shoot schedule and manage the photo calendar for all photoshoots.  Distribute photo calendar weekly to internal partners
  • Manage model castings
  • Create and manage call sheets
  • Work with Creative Director to ensure shot counts fit within budget
  • Manage location scout images on server
  • Support from operational standpoint by creating decks and templates to support cross functional partnerships with leadership in operations, creative, and finance 

Finance/Budget

  • Build annual photo budget under direction of VP Creative, VP/Director Operations and Finance
  • Partner with Finance, Merchants, VP/Director Operations and VP Creative to create and manage accurate budgets and financial projections for all photography & video shoots throughout the season
  • Manage the finalization and submission of all advances, billings, usage agreements and post-production work and ensure that these are within the allocated budget
  • Manage and reconcile all invoices from photo shoots, process, file and submit to Accounts Payable for processing.  Manage all advance requests and net zero payments
  • Be fully informed about all creative and fiscal aspects of a shoot to be able to make important decisions and/or bookings without further input from VP Creative / Creative Director
  • Review and approve all fee and expense estimates from all talent (photographers, stylists, set designers, hair, makeup, models, production companies, etc.) to maximize cost-efficiency and re-negotiates to budget talent
  • Manage brand wide model pipeline with Creative Director and VP of Creative
  • Partner with the VP of Photography to ensure all creative components (photographers, models, crew, and locations) support the brand identity and further the creative vision
  • Lead and Manage recommendation process for all new photographers, hair, makeup, stylist and model talent through talent guide and model pipeline

Minimum Salary : $111,000.00
Maximum Salary : $151,515.00

VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.

  • B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • 8-10 years Producing experience in Fashion/Retail area—print (catalogue, magazine, newspaper, collateral) and the Web
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • MAC/PC proficient—Word and Excel knowledge a must, Smartsheet a plus
  • InDesign & Keynote proficient knowledge a must
  • Travel to photoshoots required
