Application Analyst, HCM Fusion (Payroll, Benefits and Time) PRIMARY POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Title:

 Application Analyst, HCM Fusion Department: Enterprise Applications – HRMS Division : VS Information Technology Location : Bangalore,

PURPOSE/GENERAL SUMMARY: The HCM Fusion Application analyst manages the end-to-end Absence, Benefits, Time and Payroll process including production issue triage, problem solving, monitoring interfaces and ensuring delivery accuracy. Also responsible for providing input to new design requirements and interfacing with the business users while assuming the role of a Subject Matter Expert.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Key resource for business functions as supported by Fusion HCM and other applications in the HRMS group portfolio, including Taleo and Kronos

• Fosters a strong relationship with business users in all functional areas to develop and redesign the business capabilities provided by Fusion HCM and other applications in the HRMS group portfolio

• Understands annual business cycles and how to set up HCM configurations (Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Reports).

• Exposure to Year End activities.

• Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of employee’s payroll and payroll tax records including Garnishments

• Facilitate discussions with technical resources to translate functional business requirements into technology solutions and ensures successful delivery

• Participate and lead the integration change and merger/separation projects

• Maintain Fusion set-up tables

• Good Understanding of End-to-End Fusion Payroll to work on Oracle Defects and Individual Issues/Incidents related to Time Loads and Payroll.

• Run/Monitor interfaces and resolve issues associated with data.

• Assist with functional testing, validation of changes, and coordination of user testing Business Strategy

• Possess deep functional knowledge & expertise to coach & guide associates to build process capability.

 • Identify & develop SME talent in collaboration with the TL/Managers. Change Management

• Change agent with strong credibility and influence team Relationship Management

 • Work closely with the respective teams. Collaborate and build strong relationship with functional teams to ensure required support for coaching, streamlining and enhancement of processes.

SPECIFICATIONS (Qualification & Job Experience) Education & Skills

 

• Four-year degree in IT or related business area or equivalent work experience

• Strong communication and presentation skills, working with users at all levels of the organization.

• Strong knowledge of Global Payroll-North America with different payroll methods (salary, hourly, contract, seasonal, bi-weekly, weekly, monthly, semi-monthly) in a multi-state environment

• Knowledge in OTBI, HDL & Spreadsheet loaders.

• Exposure to absence and benefits module processes and configurations.

 

Qualifications

Work Experience:

 

• Total 5+ years of experience in Fusion Payroll and Time & Labor. Any experience in Kronos is a plus

• Expert in Fusion version 13, Payroll Checklist, Payroll Calculation, Tax updates in a steady-state environment (production support)

• Experience in setting up HCM configuration (Element setup, Element Eligibility, Balance Feeds)

• Experience writing use cases, queries, test cases, and test scripts for Fusion HCM applications

 • Experience in leading functional reviews with business partners, including facilitation, problem negotiation, and mediation
