Your Role
The AVP, Brand Voice & Copy will drive and execute the evolution and articulation of the brand voice and identity, ensuring all copy is aligned with the brand’s tone, voice, style, and personality within content deliverables across Victoria’s Secret Intimates, Beauty, VSX and Pink.

Your Impact
- Create compelling and innovative narratives and campaign messaging across all platforms that connect the Victoria’s Secret brand to customers in collaboration with the creative director and marketing director.
- Bring new content ideas and formats of storytelling.
- Translate marketing strategies into creative execution, partnering with business/marketing teams to ensure that content meets brand and business objectives.
- Be an internal content expert identify trends and opportunities to innovate in new ways
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Creative to input into asset creation planning and plan for annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly content deliverables (and marketing shoots).
- Leads seasonal concept work from brief through to presentation and into execution.
- Leads copy team members in concepting and idea generation from product naming to cross-brand digital and social media campaigns, always editing to the brand.
- Partners with Art Directors in Design and Photography to ensure consistent brand messaging and synergy across all channels.
- Drives enhanced strategic approaches for creative process across all channels.
- Leads voice for all display copy across all channels.
- Writes copy and directs copywriters, both in-house and freelance, on tone, style, story and content.
- Manages special process elevated catalogues and web deliverables with attention to marketing strategic brand building.
- Leads voice and creative for all email contacts in close contact with design and marketing partners.

Minimum Salary : $178,000.00
Maximum Salary : $252,315.00
VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.
Your Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of copywriting experience, including ecommerce or digital marketing industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Creative Writing, English or Journalism
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to art, design, graphics and typography
- 5 years’ experience successfully leading and managing a team
- 5 years’ experience leading creative projects and cross-functional team members
- Fashion/beauty, retail/direct experience preferred
- Fluency with Quark, Word, Excel, and InDesign
- Drive to succeed and get things done efficiently and effectively
- Able to create high-quality, of-the-moment content
- Adaptable by nature and comfortable working under pressure
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines
- Proven track record in both product and campaign work
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Must be an “idea person” and true problem-solver
- Ability to lead and inspire creative team members
- Ability to build creative briefs and strategic documents
- Attuned to, and passionate about, the fashion and retail industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects and readjust priorities in order to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and independent thinker
- Ability to present creative ideas
- Attention to detail as well as a holistic vision
