Build the best-in-class suite of Data Science and Analytics Products that power the best shopping experience for our customers, and deliver actionable, customer-centric insights to our ecommerce, marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams enabling better business decisions on omni channel (digital + store) 360 performances. Play a large technical role in architecting data science solutions working with senior team members and business stakeholders to deliver outstanding business outcomes for problems across VS&Co. Lead the building of machine learning models on customer segmentations and propensity models; A/B testing, measurement frameworks and Causal modelling; NLP, LLMs, embeddings and GenAI chat-bots; time-series forecasting and anomaly detection; and optimization and recommendation systems. Work directly on the AI problems that have the most impact on VS & Co’s digital e-commerce, omni-channel, entire supply chain, forecasting, and merchandising. Deliver data science CoE projects. Design the development of solutions that leverages data sciences and advanced analytics to develop required business solutions. Collaborate and implement the overall data science strategy. Evaluate, recommend, and implement state-of-the art algorithms and methods. Analyze and model structured data using advanced statistical methods and implement algorithms and software needed to perform analysis. Knowledge of MLOps practices. Engage and collaborate with business and technology partners. Communicate progress to all stakeholders. Mentor junior members of the team and help drive technical rigor on all aspects of data science and ML solutioning. Remote Work Available. Minimum Salary : $125,500.00
Maximum Salary : $171,360.00

Qualifications

Requirements Include: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related field of study, 8 years of experience, including 6 years of experience with Big Data Skills including  problem solving, programming language, data structures and algos, SQL, Python, R, DBeaver, database knowledge, data mining, distributed frameworks, cloud computing, data pipeline knowledge, interpretation, visualization, and statistics; 6 years of experience designing algorithms for relevant systems, including search and ranking, recommendations, forecasting, marketing, and loyalty using Statistical Modeling/Machine Learning; 6 years of experience with Agile methodologies including Atlassian Confluence, Jira, GitHub, Trello, Smartsheet, Kanban, and Scrum Ceremonies (sprints, demos & retrospectives); 6 years of experience with Distributed Systems including Python Loop Optimizations, Dask Distributed Computing, RAPIDS for Graphics Processing Unit, and Ray; 6 years of experience with Applied Machine Learning including Snowflake, Azure, Google Vertex AI, Jupyter Notebook, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit Learn, LLMs, NLPKit, and Neural Nets (CNNs, ANNs, RNNs, and GNNs); 6 years of Machine Learning experience including Machine Learning Ops practices, designing algorithms at scale, and end-to-end model development lifecycles.
