Position Title: Specialist, Media Forecasting & Analytics

Your Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Specialist to join our team. This role requires an understanding of media analytics, with a strong emphasis on budget management, budget tracking, pacing, and data uploads. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, experience in media planning and buying, and a keen eye for detail.

Your Impact: 

Budget Tracking & Pacing:

§  Track and report on budget allocation, spend, and variances

§  Ensure accurate and timely budget reconciliation and financial reporting

§  Collaborate with Media and Finance partners to ensure accurate budget allocation and spending across all media campaigns

§  Generate and distribute budget tracking reports to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations

§  Own weekly data upload process, ensuring accurate API flow through and manually uploading data from select vendor platforms

§  Manage and process invoices related to media campaigns, ensuring accuracy and timely payment; collaborate with finance team to maintain records and resolve discrepancies

 

Forecasting & Data Maintenance:

§  Partner with Media planning and channel teams on Brand Lift Studies

§  Collect, analyze, and interpret media data from various channels; create comprehensive reports and presentations that highlight key metrics, trends, and insights

§  Analyze campaign performance data to identify areas of improvement to optimize media strategies; provide recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness and ROI

§  Collaborate with analytics teams to analyze customer behavior, customer sentiment, profitability, marketing mix models as they pertain to media spend

§  Develop and implement dashboards and visualizations to communicate analytical findings effectively

§  Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support media strategic initiatives and decision-making

 

Minimum Salary : $76,100.00
Maximum Salary : $99,855.00

VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.

Qualifications

Your Experience:

§  Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Analytics) or equivalent experience

§  2-5 years of experience in media analysis, budget management, forecasting, marketing analytics or in a related field

§  Strong understanding of media planning and measurement methodologies across various channels

§  Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools (Google Looker, Snowflake, MSI, Adobe Analytics)

§  Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations

§  This role is based in our New York, NY office

§  As a hybrid role, the person in this role will be expected to be in office two days during each week, typically Wednesday and Thursday
