Lead design strategy and execution of projects and initiatives that span multiple product teams and require the coordination of effort amongst the designers on those teams. Act as a mentor to more junior Designers and Interns. Support product teams that build configurable features and capabilities to continually drive an enhanced end-user experience and greater business performance. Understand the motivations and needs of our millions of customers—and build design solutions that best serve them. Have a clear understanding of how the e-commerce platform works, who are our key partners, and be able to contribute to strategic creation of north start and roadmap planning. Collaborate with business and brand partners to create technology, capabilities, and processes that allow for efficient set-up, monitoring, and management of their digital experiences. Operate within a Lean/Agile development process that allows us to launch and learn quickly. Advocate for, and design within, a systems-based methodology that allows for configurability, customization, and specialization of re-usable components that enables scalability and quality. Drive continuous product improvements by researching and rapidly designing iterative functional solutions to enhance the user experience leveraging our design principles, standards, and best practices. Design for iOS and Android apps for Victoria’s Secret and Pink. Design for the distinct needs and expectations of VS & Co.’s customers with user research, brand insights, data analytics, and competitive analysis as your guides. Produce user flow diagrams that articulate complex user journeys across multiple web pages and touchpoints. Collaborate with our Design Systems team to identify and design enhancements to our app design library. Tailor app experiences for parity with relevant new web features and through and OMNI channel lens. Support user research and testing by gathering assumptions and writing hypotheses, contributing to questions and scenarios for tests with the Research team, and observing sessions to help extract key learns for both your area of focus and the user journey at large. Work side-by-side with front-end development and back-end development to build and validate all visual/functional enhancements. Present solutions to cross-functional and brand partners, clearly articulating the UX design principles and methodologies that inform the work. Remote Work Available. Minimum Salary : $73,486.00
Maximum Salary : $110,200.00
VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.
Requirements include: Master’s degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field of study and 2 years of experience, including 2 years of product design experience designing iOS and Android apps; 2 years of experience with industry standard tools, such as Figma or Adobe XD; 2 years of experience with best practices relating to the use of front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; 2 years of experience using, contributing, and advocate for a systems-based design methodology that is designed to support multi-tenant implementations of solutions; 2 years of experience supporting user research and testing by gathering assumptions and writing hypotheses, contributing to questions and scenarios for tests with the Research Team; 2 years of experience observing sessions to help extract key learns for area of focus and the user journey at large; 2 years of experience accessing, understanding, and utilizing site data and metrics to help validate the success of an implemented design and to inform new solutions; 2 years of experience working side-by-side with front-end development and back-end development to build and validate all visual/functional enhancements; 2 years of experience presenting solutions to cross-functional and brand partners, clearly articulating the UX design principles and methodologies that informs the work; 2 years of experience structuring and leading collaborative working sessions with cross-functional partners and other product partners to identify and define what problems the product is trying to solve and how best to solve them; 2 years of experience leading workshops within the UX team to support designer growth and foster a collaborative environment within the UX department; 2 years of visual design sensibilities work experience with elevated premium luxury brands; 2 years of experience executing identified deliverables that have high monetary impact on the project; 2 years of experience with User Interface (UIT), Visual Design, and interaction design expertise including Wireframing, Prototyping, User Interface Design, Strategic Design, Interaction Design, Accessibility for Web Design, Design Information Architecture, User Flows, Typography, Design Thinking, Mobile Design, and Desktop Web Design; 2 years of User Research Experience including User Interviews, Competitive Analysis, Co-Design Heuristic, Evaluation Usability Testing, Card Sorting, Contextual Inquiries, Quantitative Data Analysis, Affinity Diagramming, and Google Analytics; 2 years of experience understanding capabilities and best practices related to the use of front-end web technologies including HTML, CC, and JavaScript; Minimum Academic experience in Foundations of Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design Methods, Topics in Informatics (Applied Augmented Reality), Human Computer Interaction (HCI) Design Theory, Experience Design, Graphic Design, and Design Strategy.
