- Build end-to-end fact-based cost details.
- Partner with Product Development, Production, and Sourcing teams to gather necessary information for cost calculations.
- Perform bottom-up FOB value and landed price calculations.
- Share detailed cost analyses with internal and external partners.
- Calculate trim yield.Fully understand all items used in the style/prototype by referencing garment samples or proto sheets.
- Calculate material yield, including specific operation allowances used in a production environment.
- Create an operation breakdown (cutting, sewing, examining, pressing, and packaging) for any product category.
- Develop the best-engineered methods, demonstrate them to internal and external partners, and implement them with the vendor base.
- Calculate SMV (Standard Minute Value) per operation using GSD software.
- Compare VS&CO costs with vendor costs and identify key variances in each cost section.
- Own the cost validation process with vendors.Standardize the costing process across vendors.
- Build an operations database (GSD).
- Build a patterns and marker database (Gerber).Identify cost improvement opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to reduce raw material consumption.Identify opportunities to reduce component consumption.
- Review current raw material wastage allowances and discuss/agree on adjustments with vendors.
- Ensure vendors adopt the correct methods and processes to achieve the costed standard and costed efficiency.

7 years of related experience.

Must have manufacturing experience in Industrial Engineering.

GSD license is required.

Hands-on experience in Gerber/Lectra and the cutting process.

Degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering is required.

Strong negotiation skills.

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing.

Strong communication skills across all levels within the vendor base.

Knowledge of PU cup manufacturing and raw material processes (knitting, dyeing, and finishing) is an added advantage.
