The Asset Protection Sr. Manager has the responsibility of protecting our assets which include people, product, and property. Our mission is to be the leading Asset Protection team whose capabilities, knowledge of our business and understanding of our customer allows us to ensure associate safety and respond to crisis situations. The Senior Manager of Asset Protection leads the local office security operations within the Asset Protection function; acting as a primary liaison between operations and other business partners; ensuring clear communication and action is provided in asset protection/safety related incidents. This individual will support the departments Protective Operations Team (Executive Protection) and provide as needed security for executives. This role reports to the Director Asset Protection and is responsible for 2 Asset Protection members and 1 contractor.

Position Responsibilities:  

 

·         Manage daily security operations of our New York Office and team based on department policies, procedures, and function goals. 

·         Manages Protective Operations program for New York City which includes, coordination, planning, and oversight.

·         Support the Protective Operations program by providing protective services for executives and events as needed.

·         Conduct advance security assessments to support the Protective Operations program.

·         Supports all other Protective Operations program needs as assigned by the AP Director.

·         Recommend and conduct Asset Protection programs with consistency and clear direction. 

·         Review daily intelligence briefings for the New York City region and share any impacts to business operations with senior leaders and            the Emergency Operations Center. 

·         Drive action readiness training to prepare team to react responsively and urgently to emergency situations/incidents. 

·         Support inspections and adherence to safety protocol and regulations at enterprise, state, and national levels.  

·         Identify and develop site specific facility and asset control procedures, making and implementing recommendations for improvement. 

·         Lead investigations and conduct necessary investigatory interviews. 

·         Develop strong partnerships and communication channels through intimate working knowledge of our internal customers’ priorities. 

·         Develop and foster relationships with Federal, State, and local law enforcement/emergency responders. 

·         Ensure team is proficient with life safety skills. 

·         Lead team during emergency situations, hindsight for effectiveness and train to opportunities.  

·         Coach and develop the team to reduce variability of performance. 

·         Manage department and enterprise performance management. 

·         Assist in development and compliance of business plans and budget. 

·         Identify, hire, and retain top talent. 

·         Special projects and tasks as directed by leaders based on needs of the business. 

Minimum Salary : $111,000.00
Maximum Salary : $151,515.00

VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

 

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.           

·         7-10 years management experience preferred. 

·         Experience in Executive Protection or Close Contact Protection is preferred but not required.

·         Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. 

·         Advanced level of administrative and technical knowledge in safety/asset protection operations  

·         Ability to resolve conflict and manage associate issues effectively. 

·         Excellent organizational and project management skills  

·         Proficient with technology/computer related skills (e.g.: Microsoft office programs, Incident Reporting software, etc.)  

·         Investigative interview skills required. 

·         May need to work weekends and holidays to flex to needs of the business.  

·         First Aid, CPR and AED Certification – annually certified.

·         ASIS CPP or PSP certification is preferred.
