Your Role
The VS&Co Production Planning team support positioning the raw materials and finished goods for all our brand products and packaging. Materials are sourced from around the world, and we manage production in factories in the U.S. and across the Far East.
The Sr. Production Planner is a management position responsible for managing a business with multiple books/high volume of business. They lead the production and sourcing of merchandise at the right cost, with the required speed and flexibility in support of the brand merchandise plans. The Sr. Production Planner typically has 1 – 2 direct reports.
The Sr. Production Planner must possess strong problem-solving skills and industry knowledge to resolve complex issues, while influencing cross functional teams and driving issue resolution with all levels of leadership.
The Sr. Production Planner must maintain an intense focus on raw materials, buy strategies and speed enablers as it relates to their book of business. In addition, they have a large attention to detail on product readiness and risk assessment to on time delivery as it relates to their books of business.

Your Impact
Order Management
• Responsible and accountable for accuracy of on order.
• Oversee order management process to ensure timely and accurate completion of PO’s
• Assist direct report on issue resolution related to PO management activities including creation, changes and delivery updates
• Recognize when a situation needs escalated to leadership
• Managing priorities of direct reports and CF teams
Liabilities/Cancellations
• Analyze, interpret, manage and provide solutions to raw material and finished goods liabilities
• Communication of liabilities to the brand with recommended solutions
• Track and calculate Raw Material commitment needs based on lead-time, encompassing mill and finished good sourcing strategy splits
• Analyze total RM ownership to assess risk to utilization and impact to speed initiatives
• Assess risk and categorize RM contracts for Month end reconciliation of raw materials and business review with CF partners. Escalate topside view of department to leadership
• Dispute case management as needed for write offs
Capacity Planning
• Manage topside consolidation of projections for seasonal volume and left to buy and summarize change month over month
• Risk assess possible bottle necks or gaps in production with regional partners
• Assess need for dual sourcing with regional partners
• Engage with RM manager for high volume capacity planning and order placement strategy
• Manage vendor allocation/dual sourcing/duplication
Production Planning
• Create, analyze and maintain vendor BOMS for RM commitments and communicate order schedule to all brand CF teams
• Drive accountability related to process and as escalate as necessary
• Negotiate order timing with vendors and region with adherence to standard production lead times and calendar milestones
• Negotiate road locks with design and PD partners
• Analyze and interpret unique TNA calendars from vendors and communicate to CF team
• Aide in facilitating WIPS meetings for product readiness and driving issues to resolution, escalating as necessary
• Implement and execute multiple speed strategies and identify opportunity for expansion of speed strategy to other key items

• Addresses performance opportunities, escalating to leadership as necessary
• Typically manages 1-2 direct reports

Minimum Salary : $84,200.00
Maximum Salary : $114,975.00
VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related area or equivalent experience
• 6-8 years of experience with time in 2 or more categories; preferably in a retail production & sourcing environment
• Working knowledge of bulk garment production processes
• Complete understanding of Production Coordinator and Planner processes, systems, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in bringing flexibility and read and react capability to production processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; proven Excel skills required
• Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing at all levels
• Previous experience with supervising a direct report
• Proven influencing and negotiation skills
• Some travel may be required
