Your Role
The Controls Senior Technician will support the Controls team in providing technical expertise and guidance for all material handling automation systems in our distribution centers. The role is responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and project-based efforts, work assignments and audits of completed tasks. It requires strong technical knowledge, broad knowledge of PLC hardware and logic. Experience and knowledge required in support of software application, PLC application communications, I/O field device support, and host communications

Your Schedule: Monday-Thursday 1:30PM to 12:00AM
Your Impact
- Work closely with the Controls Lead technician to support, provide guidance, and mentor a team of technicians to complete daily work and project assignments.
- Identify, setup in CMMS, procure and store material handling and process automation equipment spare parts.
- Punch listing and Maintenance support after project go live.
- Support daily business needs through troubleshooting and repair of equipment/systems.
- Assign work and validate results are completed in an acceptable manner.
- Cycle count spare parts inventory to ensure accuracy and acceptable levels on hand.
- Onboarding and continuous development on all responsible systems and equipment controls for all Controls new hire associates and existing technicians.

Your Experience
- Assist teams and technical individual contributors that stimulates a sense of cooperation, ownership, and produces results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3-5 years of experience in work related to maintaining of material handling and storage systems, distribution center operations and warehouse management systems
- Understanding of warehousing and physical distribution processes.
- Experience with advanced material handling systems e.g., high-speed sortation, AS/RS, etc. a plus
- Experience with troubleshooting high and low voltage i.e. motors, drives and starters
- Experience performing and building preventative maintenance programs
- Working knowledge of PLC platforms including AB/Rockwell, Siemens
