Description

Your Role
The Manager, CSG is responsible for leading the end-to-end commercialization of assigned businesses, categories, and new product initiatives, ensuring projects move from concept through launch with clear ownership, strong cross-functional alignment, and disciplined execution.

This role serves as a key connection point across Merchandising, Planning, Design, Product Fragrance Development, Packaging, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Production Operations, Quality, Safety and Regulatory teams. The Manager translates business priorities into actionable commercialization plans, proactively identifies risks and opportunities, and drives teams toward solutions that balance speed, cost, quality, feasibility, and business objectives.

The Manager provides day-to-day leadership to the CSG team supporting their assigned portfolio while partnering closely with the Director to identify portfolio-level risks, priorities, resource needs, and opportunities to continuously improve how the organization brings products to market.

Your Impact
Portfolio & Business Ownership
•    Own the commercialization portfolio for assigned businesses/categories, ensuring projects are prioritized and executed against business objectives.
•    Maintain visibility across the portfolio, identifying competing priorities, capacity constraints, timing risks and dependencies.
•    Translate Merchant and business strategies into executable commercialization plans with clear milestones, ownership and decision points.
•    Partner with the Director to elevate significant risks, trade-offs and decisions requiring leadership alignment.
•    Ensure project status, risks and key decisions are communicated clearly and consistently across the organization.

Cross-Functional Leadership
•    Lead cross-functional teams through the commercialization process, creating accountability for deliverables and timely decision-making.
•    Build strong partnerships across Merchandising, Planning, Design, Packaging, Product Development, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Production Operations and other key functions.
•    Facilitate productive conversations around feasibility, cost, timing, risk and execution.
•    Challenge teams to identify solutions when standard processes or timelines do not support the business objective.
•    Drive clarity around roles and responsibilities and ensure issues are resolved at the appropriate level before escalating.

Project & Launch Execution
•    Oversee commercialization projects from initial brief through production and launch.
•    Ensure timelines accurately reflect critical milestones, dependencies, approvals and business requirements.
•    Proactively identify schedule, cost, capacity, formula, packaging and production risks and coordinate mitigation plans with cross-functional partners.
•    Ensure critical leadership approvals and decisions occur at the appropriate points in the development process.
•    Maintain visibility through launch and partner with functional teams to resolve executional issues.

Speed, Agility & Process Leadership
•    Lead projects across traditional CSG processes as well as accelerated development models, including Speed Pipeline and other agility initiatives.
•    Promote an MVP mindset when appropriate, helping teams distinguish between true launch requirements and opportunities to simplify or accelerate.
•    Encourage proactive, creative problem-solving while ensuring risks and trade-offs are clearly understood and documented.
•    Identify opportunities to improve commercialization processes, eliminate unnecessary work and increase speed to market.
•    Help embed new commercialization tools, processes and ways of working across the organization.

People Leadership & Development
•    Lead, coach and develop CSG team members, building stronger commercialization and project-management capabilities.
•    Provide clear direction while empowering team members to independently lead their businesses and project teams.
•    Coach the team on executive communication, risk identification, problem-solving and cross-functional influence.
•    Create opportunities for team members to expand business knowledge, leadership capability and ownership.
•    Support workload and project allocation across the team based on business priority, complexity and development opportunities.

Strategic Partnership
•    Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Director, identifying broader themes, risks and opportunities across the commercialization portfolio.
•    Connect individual project issues to broader business or process implications.
•    Support organizational priorities and help translate leadership direction into actionable plans for the CSG team.
•    Bring forward recommendations rather than simply escalating problems.
•    Help evolve CSG capabilities, processes and ways of working as the needs of the business change.
