Description

·         Communicate to respective brand point persons timely on problems identified that may affect overall quality and delivery. 

·         Prepare analysis on performance of factories assigned and identify high risk factories; identify issues and recommend improvement actions. 

·         Provide root cause analysis to identify trends/issues in factory 

·         Control and manage the quality of production in full compliance with SOPs. Identify problems early and recommend appropriate courses of action  

·         Monitor vendor performance and implement vendor development activities to improve capability and for continuous improvement 

·         Calibrate auditors and inspectors (FCAs) to brand requirements 

·         Participate or conduct quality review meetings with brand point persons on a regular basis  

·         Audit, review and prepare audit reports; Ensure timely reporting and tracking of key performance indicators 

·         Conduct factory evaluation and provide recommendations  

Qualifications

·         Minimum 10 years garment industry experience in representative office of global garment organization and factories  

·         Hands-on knowledge of different garment categories such as Knits, Intimates, Woven. Experience in intimates – Panty and Bra will be added advantage. Industrial Engineering experience and GSD certificate are highly preferable

·         Experience in handling global brands 

·         Strong communications skills in written and verbal English 

·         Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PPT and presentation skills 

·         Technical knowledge of patterns, grading, sewing process and printing 

·         Able to identify problems and analyze for solutions 

·         Competent at approving production, setting standards, taking technical decisions 

·         Direct and able to influence factories on production issues 

·         Good leadership skills; able to manage resources effectively 

·         Able to work effectively with across functional teams 

·         Experience of dealing / communicating with regional teams in different countries
