The Manager of Maintenance Services leads the reliability, performance, and maintenance strategy for facility infrastructure, building systems, and material handling equipment within the assigned distribution center. This role develops and implements maintenance strategies that support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. The position provides leadership to Maintenance Supervisors who oversee Maintenance Technicians across multiple shifts and ensures alignment with operational priorities. The Manager works in collaboration with Engineering, Construction, DC Operations, and Brand Leadership to support both short- and long-term facility strategies. This role supports a complex, multi-shift distribution center environment where facility reliability and equipment uptime are critical to operational performance.
Essential Duties
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and best practices that support asset reliability, equipment uptime, and operational efficiency
- Provide leadership and direction to Maintenance Supervisors responsible for the daily management of Maintenance Technicians across all shifts
- Ensure all facility infrastructure and equipment are properly maintained, including building systems, grounds, electrical, HVAC, electronics, material handling equipment, and fleet assets where applicable
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental guidelines related to maintenance and facility operations
- Collaborate with HR business partners for policy development and associate accountability
- Oversee time keeping accuracy for nonexempt associates through supervisors sign off
- Manage third-party vendors and contractors supporting facility services, equipment maintenance, and capital projects
- Partner with DC Operations, Engineering, and Construction teams to support facility improvements, expansions, and operational initiatives
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure maintenance activities align with operational priorities and service expectations
- Support cross-functional enterprise initiatives and capital projects as assigned
- Identify operational inefficiencies and develop solutions that improve reliability, productivity, and cost effectiveness
- Monitor maintenance performance and analyze operational results to identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Formulate and manage the departmental operating budget including cost tracking, purchase order management, and invoice approval
- Utilize maintenance management systems to track work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, asset history, and maintenance performance metrics

Salaire Minimum : $99,400.00
Salaire Maximal : $134,715.00

- Minimum of four years of leadership experience in maintenance, facilities, or engineering management; BS, MBA, or graduate degree preferred
- Minimum of eight years of experience in a facilities, maintenance, or distribution center environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead through supervisors in a multi-shift operational environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting and maintaining automated material handling systems, including conveyors, sortation systems, controls, and related equipment within a distribution or fulfillment environment.
- In-depth knowledge of facility systems including electrical, HVAC, and mechanical fire
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional or matrix organization
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Mature leadership style that fosters accountability, ownership, and teamwork
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
