Your Role
To provide a meaningful and holistic internship within our Technical Design team. This intern will provide support to the entire Technical Design team in any capacity needed for day-to-day functions of the business.

Your Impact
- Act as a positive, supportive, partner, fostering open communication in a cohesive team environment with all business partners, consistently demonstrating our shared values and competencies
- Own the organization of samples, closets, the check-in of samples and overall preparation for fit sessions
- Work closely to support Technical Design team, ensuring any business critical/hot topics are raised in a timely manner
- Respond quickly to change with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new ways to work and achieve objectives.
- Support Technical Designer to evaluate fit and construction of proto samples ensuring clear direction of design aesthetic, fit intent and construction.
- Attend and observe sessions on live model and communicate fit/construction corrections to vendors via written instruction, flat and on body measurements and digital images.
- Track and manage workflow and ensure seasonal calendar deadlines are met.
- Identify potential production, quality, and/or costing issues and provide recommendations and solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of product development process from concept through production, including patternmaking, construction, costing, manufacturing, and materials.
- Participate in design, technical and cross-functional meetings.
- Participate and support new initiatives and projects.

Salaire Minimum : $23.00

- Be Junior or Senior year of a 4-year degree program
- Technical education in terms of classes taken in garment fit and construction
- Knowledge of Bra/Swim/ or apparel patternmaking, construction, fit and grading.
- Experience using a product development technical specification program (PDM, PLM, Centric etc).
- Experience using 3D software a bonus (Clo3D, Browzwear, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
- Organizational skills, ability to multitask, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Educational knowledge of factory, manufacturing techniques and machinery in terms of classes/ previous internships is a plus
