Your Role

The Raw Material Manager owns a full category of Raw Materials from concept to production readiness.  Partnering cross-functionally to develop, communicate, and deliver on product design and brand aesthetic. They will work closely within a cross-functional team which includes Design, Production, Merchandising, Tech Design, Color & Print and Regulatory, as well as International offices.

Your Impact 

  • Source fabrics and trims from global supply chain to meet required aesthetics, price points, and performance standards.
  • Continued awareness of seasonal fabric trends and translate that information into brand appropriate development.
  • Identify relevant supply chain driven technologies and commercialize with category specific needs in mind.  
  • Textile development that accelerates brand growth.
  • Partner closely with design and cross-functional partners to understand styling and required aesthetics of a garment.
  • Management of raw material strategy to support garment costs and speed to market.
  • Maintenance of core raw material library.
  • Quality approval for all raw materials.
  • Risk assessment of all raw materials in broader context of style, garment care, purpose, regulatory requirements, quality.
  • Leverage technical knowledge for in-depth problem solving relating to raw material and garment testing.
  • Focus on company goals to support initiatives ranging from sustainability to cost savings.
  • Evaluate new and existing suppliers for their ability to meet business needs in quality of product, capacity, and cost.
  • Be a positive, supportive partner and leader consistently demonstrating our shared values and high standards.

Salaire Minimum : $123,000.00
Salaire Maximal : $168,000.00

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relative area or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of related product development experience in apparel or ideally lingerie
  • Experience in leading and developing a team
  • Very detail oriented and organized with the ability to drive tasks to completion
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive problem solver who can effectively manage dynamic challenges
  • Expertise of test methods, and ability to read test reports
  • Strong understanding of performance attributes
  • Sense of urgency and the ability to manage changing priorities
  • Experienced understanding of fabric & trim development process, dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques
  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft office programs and experience with PLM systems
